1. Calling people by the wrong names (do a bit of research first before attending the event)
2. Attending the event with your old school uniform (unless otherwise stated)
3. Try to revive the romance with someone you flirted with in high school even though he/she is already married
4. Boasting about how brilliant you are and how much money you’re making and how many women you’ve slept with etc.
5. Wearing many famous brands that are fake and/or look extremely fake

Did you know that Hair loss occurs to some extent in 60-70% of all men, and 4-8% of women? But did you also know that more than 2, 000, 000 men and women world-wide have reversed the effects of hair loss by hair restoration treatment? There is no doubt that Hair transplant is the best solution for hair loss because it is natural and permanent! “You don’t have to live with hair loss! You have options!” (The above paragraph is an excerpt from a Hair Restoration Clinic in Cape Town South Africa) Hair loss can be caused by many factors, but it is now a common sense that a lack of blood flow to your scalp is not the main cause of hair loss. If this common myth were true, then every bald person would have gangrenous skin and their scalp would ROT! It is also logical that if there were not sufficient blood flow to the scalp, a bald person would not bleed if they cut their head. Furthermore, not everyone can benefit from the hair loss medicines that are on the market. Some people do find them useful, but most people don’t. Some people rub Brandy on their scalps and it works, but most people don’t. So are there any permanent solution to this common and depressing problem? Yes of course there is. Hair transplant is the way to go! But does the word “transplant” make you think this surgery is expensive? If yes, then You are wrong. It was at one stage very expensive but the increase in demand for such a helpful surgery has made it much more affordable. And there is more! Some hair loss clinics even promise a 100% Guarantee which means they will replace any transplanted graft that does not grow! How cool is that!!! If your hair loss problem is very serious, it will cost more of course. But don’t forget the wonderful world of finance whereby you can apply for a small loan for this type of operation; and as stated in my previous post, travelling abroad for surgery may also lower the cost but at the same time getting better service! Say Goodbye to hair loss now!

At first, Medical Tourism sounds like an absurd idea to me: How can one enjoy a holiday after or before an operation? I have always been very skeptical about this idea, but since this industry is still blossoming, maybe I should do some research and find out why people want to travel abroad for surgeries. So I started looking for websites about Medical Tourism with the aim to find the estimated costs of surgery in different countries. I believe that in today’s world, actual figures are more persuasive than simple conclusions. When you do a comparison, you have to compare apples with apples. Therefore, I compared the estimated cost of Breast Augmentation in 4 countries: USA & UK who are renowned for their excellence in cosmetic surgeries; India and South Africa who are one of the best medical tours destinations. I did research on hospitals with similar standards and came up with these interesting facts: Breast Augmentation average cost (in US Dollars): USA – $5000 – $8000 UK – $5900 – $7400 India – $4500 – $6000 South Africa – $2000 – $2500
I also took into consideration other qualitative factors such as medical reputation and also the overall experience by looking at feedback from people who have been to one of these places for surgery. I also looked at other surgical procedures such as Hair Transplant are also cheaper in South Africa. Up to 50% savings!
I came to the conclusion that South Africa is relatively better than the other countries in terms of general and medical tourism. The underlying principle is simple: Which country gives you the best value for money? South Africa has an excellent reputation in the medical field with strict regulations and the highest standards of commitment; Surgeries are affordable especially with the favorable exchange rate (You get 10 South African Rand for every 1 US dollar!); and last but not least, the scenery in South Africa are simply breathtaking, especially in Cape Town. It is an ideal place for a person to recover because of its relaxing atmosphere and comfortable environment There you have it — an actual comparison of the costs. I hope this article can reach out to those who are interested in medical tourism.
